Wow, gorgeous views from Rooftop Bars in Hong Kong. Love the topic. HK has amazing buildings and skyline.

Those views!! We’re pinning this one for later. When we get to Hong Kong, now we know just were to go. Thanks for the scoop!

This is really lovely, what a fantastic view it is from the top.
Sevva seems to be very popular liked the ambiance but the prices are really high.

Ozone has the best view from among the rooftop bars you featured in there. Last time I was in HK we stayed mainly at Disneyland, hahaha! Motherhood/Parenthood defines our itinerary so unfortunately this swanky bars are our of our reality… for now.

You have shed a ray of suinnhse into the forum. Thanks!

I don’t go to swanky bars very often, but when I do splurge I like it to be for a good reason. A killer view like the one from the top of Ozone just might do the trick! That said, I think Lily and Bloom sounds like my type of place. I love quirky, comfy places with cheap but good drinks.

Have you two ever been to the sky bar at the top of the Marriott in Bangkok? That’s another jaw-dropper of a view that deserves to be savored over an over-priced cocktail 😉 Definitely recommended!

Octave at Marriott is my favorite bar in Bangkok!

  7. 13th March 2017 / 3:07 pm

Hong Kong is such an amazing city. While we didn’t think we’d be blown away by the cold and industrial skyline, our first visit left us amazed at how beautiful and welcoming it really is. We ended up really enjoying our time in HK and were fortunate enough to visit your number one rooftop bar, purely by mistake! Next time we visit, we’ll need to see the rest of these.

  8. 13th March 2017 / 11:19 am

Whoa, love all of this!!!! There are ton of rooftop bars in HCMC too but I feel like they just don’t compete with the spread of Bangkok and Hong Kong in that they all feel very scripted to this one ideal of what a rooftop bar should feel like. Each rooftop establishment in this post has a distinct personality, which I love!

  9. 13th March 2017 / 11:00 am

I LOVE rooftop bars! I’m forever wondering how people find them.. just walking around looking up?! haha I love this list because then I don’t have to look like a goof wandering into buildings to see what’s on the top floor!

  10. 13th March 2017 / 8:51 am

Lily and Bloom sounds like wicked value! I’m a rooftop chaser too. Love a great view and no barriers to it! Ill have to use this when I head out to HK!

  11. 13th March 2017 / 5:13 am

This is a good list of spots to see the city. Although I don’t drink, I must say that these places are suitable for dating! Thanks for this very detailed post. ^^

  12. 12th March 2017 / 5:12 pm

This is a well put together list of personal recommendations! I’ve not visited Hong Kong yet, however these bars look like nice spots to bring the girls on a night out, or to impress a date 🙂 Your photo of Aqua Spirit captures the interior design well!

My favorite from your list is Aqua Spirit, its sophisticated, geometrically pleasing and your deserts look fabulous. Second favorite is Lilly and Bloom for the budget traveler in me. $6, $3, $1.5 drinks are sooo affordable and just encourage you to drink, drink and drink! What an interesting marketing tactic.

  15. 11th March 2017 / 10:09 am

I’m glad I came across this post as we are travelling to Hong Kong in June and I’d love me a good night out in a rooftop bar while there. Lots of choices here to help me decide… cheers!

  16. 9th March 2017 / 2:39 pm

I had been to Ozone bar during my visit to Hong Kong last year. If only I knew about Sevva, it looks absolutely amazing! Love the Hong Kong skylines and what better way to enjoy them than these stunning bars.

  17. 9th March 2017 / 11:50 am

Oh where was this post when I was in Hong Kong! I am totally bummed that I missed out on some of these. The Ozone looks really eclectic and really cool. They have made it look really neat since it is the tallest in the world. There are so many bars there with such amazing views. I am going to need to go back and enjoy some drinks gazing out at the horizon.

  18. 8th March 2017 / 8:37 pm

I wish I had this list of rooftop bars when I visited Hong Kong. I love going up tall buildings and if there’s a bar on top even better, the view can always be admired better with a drink in your hand. And the views from Hong Kong definitely deserve a cocktail. 🙂

  19. 8th March 2017 / 5:41 pm

There’s something so romantic about Rooftop bars, ain’t it?!! Ozone Bar in night looks splendid. I’ll definitely visit when I venture to HK! Thanks for this list!

  20. 8th March 2017 / 8:51 am

I’ve only been to one rooftop bar in HK. I guess I have more exploring to do! I love the happy prices that decrease as you order more drinks. Great list.

It’s been waaaaaayyyy to long since I was last in Hong Kong. It’s time for another visit I think. Rooftop bars are one of my favourite things to do. Ozone looks right up my alley.

  24. 8th March 2017 / 4:32 am

Fun with a view- I like it! Ozone looks really interesting, but they all have such killer views. I can see why you needed to try more than one. 😉 Enjoying the lights of the city from up high seems like the perfect way to wrap up a day.

  25. 8th March 2017 / 2:54 am

So we are moving to China this year and will definitely be heading to HK regularly! would love to check this rooftop bars out, looks amazing 🙂

I wish I had seen this post about two years ago when I was alone in Hong Kong for 24 hours. You’re so right with how many wonderful places are offer. It’s such an overwhelming city at times. That brunch at Aqua looks delish!

  27. This is an awesome list. I would love to try the ‘Brunch Package”.
I have been to Hongkong but I was with my parents and sister’s family. We visited tourist attractions which were suggested by my nephew like Hongkong Disneyland, Ocean Park and so on.

  28. 7th March 2017 / 8:10 pm

I wish I found your post earlier!! I wanted to find a bar to watch the light show from when I was in Hong Kong last year – we went to Aqua in the end, but didn’t have a great table and went a bit too late so wasn’t ideal for us. However, looking to go back, so these recs will be so helpful in having a better experience!

  29. 7th March 2017 / 8:09 pm

I loved HK when I visited it 10 years ago. We only stayed for a few nights and have our new born baby with us hence we sadly were not welcome in quite a few of the places we wanted to visit. One of the was Macau as we were told only people over 18 are allowed there. So we decided not to leave the baby behind and leave the visit for another occasion. Perhaps we should revisit it now, just remember to travel without children lol You have listed quite a few nice places there- that is for sure.

  30. 7th March 2017 / 7:39 pm

I never did any of the rooftop bars when I was in Hong Kong, not sure why!! The views look amazing, I would love to sit there with a drink looking at the lights. Next time I visit I am going to visit a few of them.

  31. 7th March 2017 / 6:07 pm

Hong Kong has one of the most impressive skylines in the world. My cocktail of choice to enjoy whilst viewing the skyline would be a traditional Margarita. Sevva looks like the best view, Ozone looks good too but I’d prefer to be outside. I guess in winter when it’s freezing Ozone is definitely the best place!

  32. 7th March 2017 / 1:46 pm

HK really is something else. At night, everything comes so alive! I’m not a huge fan of bars but the views you have captured here look amazing! Next time I go to HK I’ll have to go to some of these for sure!

Great list of Hong Kong rooftop bars. I’d love to visit Hong Kong – closest I got was the airport on a stopover to Taiwan. I am married to a Thai and visit Thailand regularly. One of these days I am going to book a trip to HK, hopefully on our next visit to Thailand I may get to sample some of the bars you mention here. Good informative post. Thanks for sharing!
